What do you think about creatine supplements related to muscle building. It seems to be a hot topic these days. I am always leary of some supplements and cautious of trends.
I will be including science around creatine in this month! But the short answer is I am a big fan. And I agree, I don't want to get on a supplement train just bc there is hype but there is real benefit.
I am very interested to see what information you have to share on this subject. I am someone who is very deconditioned due to misdiagnosis of the connective tissue disorder I actually suffer from (hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) as bipolar disorder. I was drugged into oblivion and barely moved for almost 20 years. I have been working with a physical therapist for a few years and slowly trying to regain some mobility and strength. Any information on improving muscle strength and mass will be another helpful resource as I try to improve my overall health. Thank you.
Jennifer, what a journey! Yes, yes to muscle being your companion through this. Remember we are not talking about people being bodybuilders. We are talking about prioritizing lean muscle mass growth and maintenance as a metabolic engine and organ of longevity. You definitely can get so much support through your healing process.
